Tembi is the Yogyakarta base for d'Omah, literally translated "at home" in the Javanese language. At home in Tembi takes the form of comfortable spacious accommodation in artistically restored, old Javanese houses with up to date facilities including airconditioning, swimming pools, internet connection, mini bars and international TV for those who want to keep in touch with the outside world. Each house has its central Pendopo or meeting area and an abundance of quiet corners for relaxing or enjoying intimate moments with your friends. Today, it serves as a gathering spot for guests, and is richly appointed with period pieces and a library and music room . Its veranda serves as the perfect place to view the glorious sunrises and sunsets that only the Losari's locale can provide. While at Losari, you can find rejuvenation in the Hammam, a real Turkish bath, and can receive any one of a number of relaxing spa treatments. An octagonal swimming pool with surrounding terrace, also part of the three-story Hammam complex, is the perfect spot from where you can enjoy cool drinks and light snack while viewing the amazing mountain scenery. One of our restaurants, Java Red, serves gourmet Mediterranean recipes and nouvelle Indonesian cuisine, while another, Java Green, features a healthy menu featuring ingredients from Losari's own organic gardens. Also featured are tennis and lawn bowling courts and various walking, running, and biking trails that snake through Losari's hills. Nearby, you can enjoy a relaxing ride aboard an old steam train for a tour of the Javanese countryside or join enriching cultural, artistic, and nature excursions throughout magnificent Central Java.
