In the heart of the jungle, moored along the banks of this historic river, this is a unique opportunity to be as one with nature. There are beautiful waterfalls in which to bathe, wild orchids to view on jungle jaunts and deep and fabled caves to visit. You can ride elephants through the jungle and visit native Mon villages or simply bask in the sun and dive off you verandah for a swim in the river. As dusk turns into night the river changes its mood. Candlelit wooden tables set the scene for an evening on the water. 

One arrives by boat after a short trip through jungle swathed limestone gorges. The resort nestles on the bank of the Kwai Noi River, is surrounded by a mountain and faces a high cliff. Accommodation is in cottages decorated in Thai style. Evenings are magical with all the night sounds of the jungle.

The RV "Kwai Pandaw" is part of the Pandaw Cruising Group, established by the revived Irrawaddy Flotilla Company in Burma in 1995.

With only 10 state rooms this small ship is suitable for the Kwai River with its tight bends, variable water levels, pools and gorges and low bridges.

The ship is finished in teak and brass.

All the 10 cabins open on to promenade decks with sliding 'French windows' and insect proof louvre shutters.

The bar and dining area are integrated into an open plan Upper Deck, covered by an awning with comfortable rattan furnishings and steamer chairs.
